Queijo Coalho Two Ways (Brazilian Grilled Halloumi)
I took my favorite beach snack from Rio and turned it into a super easy at home recipe. The closest cheese you can find in the US to the OG Coalho is Halloumi, a mediterranean cheese with a high melting point (read it grills!).

Prep time: 10 MinCook time: 10 MinTotal time: 20 Min
Ingredients
- 2 blocks of Halloumi Cheese
- 1-2 teaspoons dry oregano
- Mikes Hot Honey or regular honey

Instructions
- Pre heat the air fryer to 350 degrees
- Slice the cheese into ½ inch thick slices and about 1-2 inches long

Notes
No air-fryer? These can go on a grill or hot pan instead!
Remove from the Air Fryer and onto a serving plate
Season the first batch with oregano
For the second batch, drizzle with honey then top with ¼ cup chopped pistachios
Serving Suggestion:
Serve with a fresh juice or a cold beer
