I have a theory that any cuisine is better in Rio because of how we put our own “brasilidades“ into it. I’ve lived in US for twenty years and we are here to put my theory to the test with brunch, what may just be the most popular and recognized American meal nowadays. Here at Musa they have brunch favorites and some very Brazilian options like the “Cuscuz com Carne Seca e Requeijao” that I ordered. The avocado toast was also delicious, but I have to say that you can’t find the fresh juices we ordered anywhere here in the US. And one more thing, brunch with your feet in the sand is I think an exclusive perk of Rio. My theory is still correct after this one.
