Ocya Rio
One of the best sundays of this year was spent @ocya.rio. To get there, walk down an alley next to a mall, get on a water taxi, and land at the artfully and organically decorated patio of Ocya.
Inside, fish hanging in the maturing chamber show how Chef Geronimo Athuel’s fishing practices guide this restaurant’s seafood-driven menu. Local favorites include the Shrimp Garlic Bread with smoked shrimp shell panko, housemade fish linguica with pepper jelly, and of course, the star main of braised whole catch of the day with creamy lemon rice.
The adventure of getting here is unique, and yet only the beginning… the entire experience is actually kind of surreal.
