Air Fried Cabbage
If you told me a few years ago that I’d be obsessing over cabbage, I might have laughed. But here we are. It’s one of those humble, unsung ingredients that, when treated right, becomes absolute gold.
I’ve been leaning hard into simple, nourishing meals lately—the kind that leave you feeling energized rather than weighed down—and my air fryer has become my secret weapon for exactly that. There is something transformative about what happens to cabbage in that circulating hot air. The edges get these dark, caramelized, crispy bits that are honestly addictive, while the center stays tender and sweet.
I love keeping this super simple: a little high-quality olive oil, a heavy sprinkle of sea salt, and maybe a crack of black pepper or a dash of chili flakes if I’m feeling spicy. It’s a low-effort, high-reward side dish that pairs perfectly with just about anything. It’s proof that eating healthy doesn’t have to be complicated; sometimes, you just need a little heat and a little patience.
